We are proud to be a charity partner for the Larken Gowen Run for All Ipswich Half Marathon. As a charity partner for the event, we are able to offer 10 free places to individuals who are passionate about supporting our cause and willing to take on the challenge of the Ipswich Half Marathon. These places present a fantastic opportunity for those who are looking to push themselves both physically and mentally while making a meaningful difference to our charity through fundraising.

The event this year is taking place on Sunday 22nd September 2024.

How to get involved
If you're interested in securing one of our free places for the Run for All Ipswich Half Marathon, we would love to hear from you! Here's how you can get involved:

• 1- Fill out our register your interest form below to express your interest in attending the event and fundraising on behalf of our charity.
• 2- A link will be sent to officially register with race organisers which will secure your space.
• 3-Fundraising Support: Once you've secured your place, we'll provide you with all the support and resources you need to kickstart your fundraising efforts. From helpful tips and advice to promotional materials, we're here to help you every step of the way.
• 4- Training and Preparation: Running a half marathon is no easy feat, but with the right training and preparation, you can conquer the challenge with confidence. We'll share training plans and advice to help you get in shape and ready to tackle the course on race day.
• 5- Join Our Team: On race day, you'll join fellow dedicated runners as you take on the Ipswich Half Marathon, though training is individual you come together on the day to share our name loud and proud. Families Together Suffolk start will be places around the course as marshals and on our dedicated cheer station, so you have our support along the way. Crossing the finish line is nothing short of amazing and you can do so knowing that you've made a real difference to the families we support as a charity.

We hold a very popular annual Christmas Raffle each year – so if you have any raffle prizes to donate, please contact info@familiestogethersuffolk.org.uk or call us on 01379 678552 to let us know. Likewise, if you are an organization that would like to donate an item or cash sum or support our raffle by selling tickets on our behalf, we would love to hear from you.
